DOWNTOWN ROUTES
Cherokee Transit runs every half hour from 7 am until 12:30 am daily May thru October. Sheltered Transit stops are located near the landmarks on the map. A limited winter schedule is in place for November thru April. Transit follows two routes in downtown Cherokee —

• The Mountain Trail route follows US 19, US 441 and the connecting Business 441 (Casino Trail). See map.
• The River Trail route follows US 441 North (Tsali Blvd), Acquoni Road and a portion of US 19 to the Casino. See map.
• Riders can transfer routes at or near the US Highway 19 Welcome Center.

Fares
• The adult fare for River and Mountain Trails is $1.00.

• Motel tokens from in-town lodging facilities are accepted for fares. Each token equals $1.00 in fare.

• Trolleys operate May thru October. The fare is $1.00 for adults (each time you board). Unlimited day passes ($2.00) are available from the driver or from the Transit Park and Ride.

• Transfers are free between River Trail and Mountain Trail buses.

• Transferring to Community Trails routes involves the applicable charges for your route. Rates are based on zones, with a charge of $1.00 per zone entered. Upon boarding, please tell the driver your final destination and pay the entire fare for your journey.

• Exact change please. Driver cannot make change.

Transfers
Passengers whose trip begins on one downtown Transit route and ends on the other can change buses at our transfer station (Welcome Center on US Hwy. 19). If you have paid your first driver for the entire fare, simply tell this to your new bus driver along with your destination.
