Wave — While Community Trails buses are on a general schedule, with designated stops, drivers have the discretion to take on and let off passengers as requested. If you need a ride and see a Community Trails bus, get the driver’s attention and he or she will give you a ride. Email us your needs – just send the dispatcher your request by email.  FARES • The Community Trails service area is divided into zones to determine fares. • The minimum adult fare for Community Trails is $1.00. There is an additional charge of $1.00 for each additional zone reached, whether the rider’s whole trip involves one Community Trails bus or more than one bus. Additional charges also apply when transferring from Community Trails to other Cherokee Trails routes. • Upon boarding, please tell the driver your final destination and pay the entire fare for your journey. • Motel tokens from in-town lodging facilities are accepted for fares. Each token equals $1.00 in fare. • Senior Citizen and Youth Discounts – Children under age 6 ride free. Senior citizens (age 60 and over) and children between age 6 and 13 pay half the regular fare. • Monthly and weekly passes are available – $100 for unlimited monthly rides and $25 for unlimited weekly rides. |
