The route runs through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on Newfound Gap Road (US Hwy. 441). There will be a 10-minute stop at Newfound Gap for photos, etc., on the daytime run. The shuttle will make three stops in Tennessee — • The Sugarlands Visitor Center in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. • The Gatlinburg Visitor’s Center at red light #3 in the center of Gatlinburg. • Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge, near the shopping malls. Sugarlands / Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge / Cherokee
Tickets may be purchased from either the driver or the Ticket Booth at the Welcome Center 2093 Tsali Boulevard, Cherokee NC(US Hwy. 441 North near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Entrance). Tickets may be purchased with cash or traveler’s checks only, and are non-refundable.
Are you a hiker? Unscheduled stops along the route may be arranged with as much advance notice as possible (Happy Hiker – Gatlinburg, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, GSMNP pull-offs, etc.). Carry-ons – Backpacks, strollers, car seats, small coolers and mobility devices are permitted on board. |
