A Cherokee Friend, wearing authentic 1700s style Cherokee clothing, will ride on the 2:30 pm shuttle each weekend from June 21 through October 26, 2008. FARES
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

From Gatlinburg — $12.00 round-trip for adults & children; $7.00 one-way

From Pigeon Forge — $14.00 round trip for adults & children; $9.00 one-way

Family and Group Rate — $2.00 discount each round-trip for three or more seats

Seniors — $2.00 discount (60+)

Are you a hiker? We provide hiker drop-offs and pickups, by arrangement, at any GSMNP pull-over on US Hwy. 441.

We pull in at Newfound Gap for hiker drop off and pick up at these times during May to October —  8:30 am, 10:30 am, 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm, 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm, 10:15 pm and 12:15 am

Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, TN visitors can enjoy the Cherokee, NC experience
without having to drive across the mountains.

Cherokee Transit’s air-conditioned buses connect the Tennessee Smokies and the North Carolina Smokies with four round-trips daily.

The route runs through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on Newfound Gap Road (Highway 441). There will be a 10-minute stop at Newfound Gap for photos, etc., on the daytime run.

When you arrive in Cherokee, simply transfer to one of our Downtown Shuttles for shopping, attractions or the Casino.

• The Gatlinburg / Great Smoky Mountains National Park Visitor’s Center at red light #3 in the center of Gatlinburg.

• Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge, near the shopping malls.

At the Newfound Gap stop, you can have one foot in Tennessee and the other foot in North Carolina.
